Both stars will be acting in the new movie of Ferzan Ozpetek who became famous with his movie called “ Hamam (Steam),“ the story of 2 gay guy’s visit to a Hamam in Istanbul.

Ferzan was born in Istanbul and has lived in Italy for a long time. He prefers to make movies with both Turkish and Italian actors/actresses.

Monica Bellucci recently gave birth to her second daughter and is getting ready to act in Ozpetek’s new movie which will be called “ Sonra Aglayacagim “ .

Cem Yilmaz born 23 April 1973 in Istanbul is a Turkish stand-up comedian, actor and filmaker, best known for his films G.O.R.A. (2004), A.R.O.G (2008) and Yahşi Batı (2010).

The new movie will take place in Istanbul and in Mardin, east side of Turkey.

Ferzan said he wants Sezen Aksu to make the music of “Sonra Aglayacagim” which can be literally translated as “ Will cry later “ but this is not the official English title.

Pamela Anderson stripped in Paris this week on Valentine’s Day for two sold out performances at the Crazy Horse. The crowd of over 500 fans paid around $300 per person. Sadly all journalists and photographers were banned. Pamela came on stage in a sheer black body stocking and did her stage bow on the back of a motorcycle. Her performance was an homage to ’50s sex icon Brigitte Bardot who sent Pamela flowers and wished her well.

Joe Satriani will perform in Turkey for the first time on July 14 at Istanbul Arena in Istanbul’s Arnavutkoy district.

The 2007 tour marks the 5th North American G3 run and the 12th G3 tour worldwide since its inception. The Topkapi Affair is an upcoming film based on Eric Ambler’s novel The Light of Day and its film adaptation Topkapi. The film, to star Pierce Brosnan, is a sequel to the successful heist film The Thomas Crown Affair.

Like The Thomas Crown Affair, The Topkapi Affair is to be produced by Brosnan’s own production company, Irish DreamTime.

The movie with actress Angelina Jolie and actor Pierce Brosnan will be filmed in Istanbul.

Rumor has it, that the movie is not going to be shot in Istanbul. TRT (national TV station of Turkey) said they have an agreement with MGM and the producer is busy with finding the right scenario before the filming starts.

According to the information of manager of Topkapi Palace, they refused to let the production team use the palace for this filming. Thousands of visitors visit the palace everyday, if the permission is given for this filming, then the tourists will not be able to visit the palace.

I think it will be Jolie’s first visit to Turkey, I’m sure she will enjoy it a lot.

One of the VIP guest of this night was, famous “Jason Lewis” top fashion model turned actor, from Southern California. Lewis stars in “Sex and The city”, HBO’s famous series and in the hit movie “Mr. Brooks” which is in theaters now.

Live Earth is organized to combat global warming, “Live Earth” concert series announced an official branch in Turkey. Organizers of the global concert series reaching worldwide audience of over 2 billion people announced that Istanbul would host an official Live Earth concert event on July 7, 2007, Saturday.

On the official website, Istanbul is still in the list. But the lineup of artists for the concert has still not been announced and from several sources I hear that the gig is canceled.

Al Gore recently joined with actress and Live Earth Istanbul spokesperson Sebnem Donmez on June 13, 2007 at the Cirigan Palace to raise the curtain on Live Earth Turkey. Today comes the news that Al Gore’s Live Earth has dropped Istanbul from the list of Live Earth hosted cities throughout the world.

The reasons for cancellation, lack of sponsors, and interest due to the current elections in Turkey. Its a great opportunity lost for Istanbul but there are lots of other great concerts coming up!

I hope you can still refund your ticket, as they went on sale last week. It would have been great to have a lineup of artists in Istanbul with names as Bjork, Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera, Santana, Elton John, Guns N’ Roses, James Morrison, Jay Z, Jennifer Lopez, Led Zeppelin, Mariah Carey, Nelly, Pink, and Rod Stewart.

The Luca Luca pre-fall and fall/winter collections will also be on display at a trunk show in Beymen, Istanbul’s largest upscale department store. The event is being co-hosted by Alem Magazine, Turkey’s most widely read lifestyle title, which is also celebrating its 15th year.

She first met with designer Luca Orlandi at Ciragan Kempinski Hotel in order to discuss the details of her night gown and then Nicky enjoyed shopping in Istanbul streets, such as the famous district Nisantasi. Afterwards, she had a relaxing boat tour on Bosporus.
