Bon Jovi has announced on their official website that they will be playing in Istanbul in 2011.
The American Rock Band will perform at the city’s Kazlicesme Festival Site on July 8th, after their concert in the UK. The concert in Istanbul will form part of the band’s The Circle tour.
The Legendary pop-rock band Bon Jovi may entice people to travel to Istanbul next summer. Some could even use the American band’s date as a chance to visit Istanbul and explore much more of the city, perhaps venturing south to the picturesque Turkish coast.
According to the website tickets will go on sale on November 4th, and will include VIP tickets. Bon Jovi will kick off their European tour in on June 8th 2011 in Zagreb, finishing up in Portugal on July 31st. During the tour, the band will be playing concerts in some countries for the first time, including Romania, Greece and Turkey.
The band has a Greatest Hits CD landing in stores Nov. 9 that also features four new tracks – “The More Things Change,” “No Apologies,” “This Is Love, This Is Life” and “What Do You Got!”
