KATADROM, Arts, Culture and Social Politics Association is launching a brand new radio workshop and competition in cooperation with the Istanbul Bilgi University and RadyoVesaire.
KATADROM, Arts, Culture and Social Politics Association a platform for exchange students to share and realize cultural and artistic projects in Istanbul is holding a radio workshop and competition together with the Faculty of Communication of the Istanbul Bilgi University. The workshop will begin on October 6, 2012 supervised Ariana Ferentinou, faculty member of the Istanbul Bigi University and held by Berk Büyükbalci and Arin Yeniaras.
Since 2011 KATADROM has been organizing a variety of events to offer exchange students from all over the world the opportunity to realize artistic and cultural ideas in all forms and to create a mutual cultural understanding in order to strengthen the integration and dialogue between cultures.
Free of charge events planned in September are: Regular Turkish Language meetings held by Fatmanur Sari, a Roman dance workshop on the 16th of September at El Tango Dance and a film screening and discussion of the Turkish film “Zephyr” together with director Belma Bas.
Some of the workshops launched in October are: An experimental documentary project that aims to show student exchange all over the world as well as a photography workshop by Kenan Özcan and a creative writing workshop held by Zafer Celer on the topic “Stranger”, both in cooperation with the student art magazine.
