It’s been six years since British rocker Sting last performed in Istanbul and fans can look forward to an early Christmas present this year.
The Grammy award-winning singer will be back on November 26th for a show at the Ataköy Atletizm Arena in Istanbul as part of his Back to Bass tour.
Following the success of Sting’s 2011-2012 world tour, the Back to Bass tour is returning to Europe, organized by BKM and GNL.
Sting will be performing at the Ataköy Atletizm Arena Istanbul on November 26th 2012 for his Istanbul stop of his ‘Back to Bass’ tour. The acclaimed star will be joined by a five-piece band including Dominic Miller (guitar), Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), David Sancious (keyboards), Peter Tickell (electric fiddle) and Jo Lawry (vocals) and accompanied by a five-string orchestra while performing his favorite songs including ‘Desert Rose’, ‘Fields of Gold’ and ‘Shape of My Heart’.
Sting last performed for his Istanbul fans in 2006.
