Ciragan Palace Kempinski Awarded IFWTWA Excellence

The International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association’s (IFWTWA) Excellence Awards program recognizes the world’s finest travel and tourism industry professionals as experienced by the organization’s journalist members. Ciragan Palace Kempinski Hotel, Istanbul, Turkey has earned this award for excellence in the hospitality industry.

The IFWTWA member journalist who nominated Ciragan Palace Kempinski Hotel for recognition has visited 41 countries on 6 continents and has had the opportunity to stay at some of the most luxurious resorts and hotels in the world. According to her: “None has impressed me as much as the Ciragan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul. The elegance of the decor, coupled with the attentive service and state-of-the-art technology, is beyond what I have received at most 5-star hotels. There are security scanners upon arrival at the hotel, and you are welcomed as a true guest by highly professional and gracious personnel. I was particularly impressed with management’s desire to give back to the community through the hotel’s arts programs that are open to anyone. Nevertheless, this property caters to royal families and celebrities. A suite in the palace building is considered to be one of the best three suites in Europe.”

The award nomination was carefully evaluated and recommended by IFWTWA’s Excellence Awards Committee and the award approved by IFWTWA’s Board of Directors.

“As a winner of an IFWTWA Excellence Award, Ciragan Palace Kempinski Hotel demonstrates the professional standards that represent the best in the hospitality industry worldwide,” said Maralyn Hill, IFWTWA President.
