American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses will perform in Istanbul this summer, two years after their last concert was planned. The 1980′s and early 1990′s popular band, still led by original front runner Axel Rose, will take the stage at Istanbul’s Parkorman on July 4th 2012.
The band who made their name with classic hits like “Sweet Kid o ‘ Mine” and “November Rain” have revealed the gig on their official web site. Guns N ‘ Roses will play at the “Tuborg GoldFest”.
Guns N ‘ Roses was formed in March 1985 by frontman Axl Rose and rhythm guitar player Izzy Stradlin of Hollywood Rose, with lead guitar player Tracii Guns, bass player Ole Beich, and drummer Rob Gardner of L.A. Guns.
“Tuborg Goldfest” will be a world class festival featuring a hand-picked range of styles. With some of the biggest names in such genres as rock’n’roll, numetal, symphonic rock and hard rock, this promises to be a fantastic experience for lovers of the many faces of rock.
