The event will bring world-famous chefs to the Beylikdüzü TUYAP Exhibition and Congress Center.
Considered among the top 10 festivals, and approved by the World Association of Chefs Society, the event will draw chefs from Albania, Azerbaijan, Britain, Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Greek Cyprus, India, Israel, Latvia, Mongolia, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia, South Korea, Turkish Cyprus, the United States and Uzbekistan.
The International Gastronomy Festival aims to bring turkish cuisine together with other food cuisine from around the world. A second goal of the event is to affiliate Turkey’s chefs with their best counterparts from around the globe and allow for an exchange of knowledge about the culinary profession that will result in personal growth and achievement.
As a result of being accepted into the World Association of Chefs Society (WACS) in 2008 the festival has now become even more reputable and prestigious then ever before. The competition is being coordinated and executed based on the standards outlined by WACS. The chef’s who come out victorious from the competition will not only receive medals as a reward, but will also receive internationally accredited certificates.
The festival which will take place in Istanbul, the city that has been chosen to be 2010’s European Capital, plays a big role in promoting Turkey and the Turkish cuisine.
