Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center tickets are now available for world-famous artists and shows with a unique technology and halls with perfect acoustics.
Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center will possibly be the new address for musicals after New York Broadway and London West End and tickets for 2013-2014 seasons are now on sale.

Tickets are on sale from Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center for world-famous musicals as well as a wide range of shows from classical music, jazz modern dance and ballet to concerts and family shows.
Ray Cullom, General Manager of Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center, stated after 2013-2014 season tickets were put on sale that the place will be the new address for musicals after New York Broadway and London West End and continued: “We are very happy to open our doors and share this magnificent treasure with the people of Istanbul and Turkey. A SCHEDULE FOR EVERY TASTE
At the meeting regarding the main theatre stage of Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center, Ray Cullom provided information on the stage plays and ticket sales. Cullom stated that Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center would host more than 50 events and 400 performances and the schedule includes events from various categories for a wide-ranging taste. Cullom also said that he made an extensive research on Turkish audience before making the decisions on which shows to host and staging of Broadway shows in Istanbul would be very exciting for the people of Istanbul. He mentioned that this kind of center was the desire of the people for some time and continued: “The participants of the research would like to see Broadway musicals as well as stage shows, recitals, stand up shows, concerts, stage plays and exhibitions on stages of Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center. Our schedule will meet all these demands.”

Cullom also said that the tickets are available by Zorlu Center Performing Art Center through the official web site (www.zorlucenterpsm.com) and they intend to provide the best services for the viewers. He reminded that the whole season schedule is available on the web site and even an event in next May is available as of now. Cullom stated that to service fee is payable in ticket purchase and continued: “All tickets for 2013-2014 seasons are now available. Detailed information is available through the ticket sales office at Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center and the call center. No physical tickets will be required and a password mailed to a cell phone or the printout of the e-ticket from the web site will be sufficient.

There are 5 price categories for the main theater stage. Drama stage has 3 ticket price categories. Various tickets are available for various events. Ticket prices range from 35 TL to 599 TL. Broadway musicals will be priced from 59 TL to 252 TL. I would like to express that we also have seats and specific spaces for our disabled guests.
Best Events at Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center For The First Time…
This year we focused on two aspects regarding the schedule, best ones and first times… First of all, we wanted to try hard and make Istanbul an important address for shows for a change, like New York or London. Beginning with this season, three or four legendary Broadway musicals will be staged in Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center every season.
These Broadway-style musicals will be under the title of “Broadway in Istanbul” and this season we will have 3 legendary musicals from New York, London and Paris.
The first one will be in November, namely Jersey Boys… from Broadway. Jersey Boys is the story of historical success of “Four Seasons”, a band of four blue-collar young people. This Broadway musical has 54 awards, including Tony, Grammy, Olivier and Helpmann best musical awards.
After seeing Jersey Boys, Turkish audience will quickly notice that they are very familiar with hit songs from the musical including “Sherry”, “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, “Rag Doll”,” Oh What a Night”, “Beggin” and” Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”.
The second musical from London is one of the best-known and most-liked musicals of history, the legendary Cats… Cats is one of the longest-running shows in Broadway and was staged in more than three hundred cities for 50 million people, a real phenomenon…
Cats reflects the perfect harmony of music, dance, poetry, dreams, theater and love and it has 7 Tommy Awards from Broadway including the best musical and best director. Cats also has an Olivier Award for best musical and a Grammy for best original cast with a magnificent stage design, astonishing costumes and a perfect choreography.
The third musical of the first season is “Notre Dame de Paris” from Paris. Inspired by Victor Hugo’s eternal “The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, the musical is a classical love story and will take the viewers to 1800s with its music, acting and costume.
Notre Dame de Paris is well-remembered by the legendary song “Belle” and it was recognized by Guinness Book of Records as the best selling musical in its first year and awarded as “Best Musical” in many countries.
These three musicals will use the facilities and acoustics of the main stage as good as possible and the viewers will have unforgettable times.
One of the richest categories of the first season is the classical music category. Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center wanted to develop a non-orthodox approach to classical music in its first season and compiled a schedule including film scores, cross-over, experimental music and visual effects. The range here is quite wide from very well known stars to young talents.
The first show of this category will also be the first event at Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center and a well-known experimental and classical music artist, Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi will be on stage for his first ever concert in Turkey.
2013 is the Kavafis year in Greece, due to the 150th birth anniversary of the legendary Greek poet Konstantin Kavafis. World-famous poems by the legendary poet, compositions by the famous Greek composer Alexandros Karozas, songs by the well-known Greek singer George Dalaras and poems by Okan Bayülgen will help Kavafis Project echo in Istanbul. A choir of 40 singers and the symphony orchestra conducted by Hakan Şensoy will also be on stage on this special evening.
Spectacular Classics, loved even by those not interested in classical music will also be in Turkey for the first time as a not-to-miss event. A great orchestra playing from Handel, Verdi, Tchaikovsky and Puccini, most popular classical music pieces of the world, masters of solo, a unique light and laser show and a spectacular final with fireworks in the confined space will ensure a magnificent evening.
The same orchestra and choir will be at John Williams Gala for the legendary film scores from Jaws, E.T., Star Wars, Superman, Harry Potter, Schindler’s List and others, also accompanied by a light and laser show and many other surprises.
Fazıl Say, loved by the world with his concerts in five continents and also his composing, will also be on stage with two performances during the season.
Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center will also host in its first season the classical music flute veteran, the man with the golden flute, Sir James Galway, talented young pianist Lara Melda, pianist and musicology Evren Kutlay with a blend of music and history, American classical guitarist Jason Vieaux who has a large global audience, Macedonian artist Simon Trpčeski with a flawless technique and a masterly expression, one of the best contemporary violinists, Nikolaj Znaider and Cenk Karaferya&Broschi Ensemble to take Istanbul to the magical times of Baroque era.
A sub-segment of the classical music category is the “Crossover” which dynamically blends classical music with popular music.
The popular duo with cello versions of songs like “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Hurt”, Highway to Hell” and “Viva la Vida”, 2Cellos; The Piano Guys who have a unique style of blend of classical music, film scores, rock and pop music and Respect for Beatles event, in which “The Beatles” songs are covered by the famous jazz singer Cristina Zavalloni and I Virtuosi Italiani Chamber Orchestra with a strict link to the original songs.
In the ballet-dance category we will bring you the Nutcracker, one of the masterpieces of classical ballet, as performed by Stars of the Moscow Ballet and a live orchestra. A Broadway sold-out show, Luis Bravo’s famous Forever Tango will show you the magical mix of passion, blues and enthusiasm of tango.
Show category consists of two extraordinary performance. The Canadian Cirque Éloize blending contemporary circus art with music, break-dance and hip-hop and other street dances will stage the magnificent “iD” with a multi-disciplinary performance. The other event in this category is Ballet Revolucion, formed by Cuban dancers. The modern dance group stages sold-out shows all around the world and blends various styles ranging from ballet to street dances with hit songs from world stars Usher, Rihanna, David Guetta, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars and Prince.
Jazz lovers can also enjoy a varied and rich range of alternatives. Grammy winner Luciana Souza,Take6, most awarded vocal group in history and Regina Carter, many times number one in American jazz lists will be in Istanbul for wonderful jazz nights Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center will also host special events. New York Gypsy All-Stars will be accompanied by Özcan Deniz, Ege, Demet Sağıroğlu, Hüsnü Şenlendirici, Yeni Türkü and Gripin for a night to remember.
Taksim Trio, mixing music with the dynamic and cosmopolitan soul of Istanbul, will be accompanied by Carlos Benavent, Tomatito and others in their “Istanbul Experince” performance.
The final category in the first season schedule is “Pop – Rock – Others”…
The legendary musician Nana Mouskouri is back on stage with her “Happy Birthday” Tour which will start on her birthday in Athens and continue at Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center. Composer of Zorlu Center’s theme song, Fahir Atakoğlu will perform with Yasmin Levy and Azam Ali and Turkey’s all-time legendary musician Sezen Aksu will be at PSM with two other legends, Fahir Atakoğlu and Ara Dinkjian.
World-famous Haris Alexiou and İncesaz, who cover their choice of Turkish classical music, will take you to both sides of the Aegean Sea.
Turkish Pop stars Yalın, Göksel and Nil Karaibrahimgil and well-known rock bands Mor ve Ötesi and Model will also be on stage…
Zorlu Center is a 5-function “multiple use” project and includes a center for performance arts, a hotel, offices, a shopping center and residences. Center for Performance Arts, one of the most important functions of Zorlu Center, was developed on the fact that a significant need of Istanbul was spaces for culture-art events. Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center designed as a multi-functional art center to host various branches of art covers a significant space in Zorlu Center.
Main hall (main theatre stage) of the Center for Performance Arts has a capacity of 2 thousand 262 people and the drama stage has a capacity of 738 people. Zorlu Center Performing Arts Center was built with 300 million USD investment on 50,000 m² confined space and will host many events as of October 2013 including world-famous musicals, concerts, stage plays, dance shows and art exhibitions.
