Some of the very best photojournalists in the world will be bringing their cameras to Istanbul this November. Istanbul is the kind of place photographers dream about photographing and iStock is going to photograph Istanbul in a whole new way. iStockalypse iStanbul is the beginning of Editorial photography at iStock.
iStanbul will be a radically different event from any previous iStockalypse. For the first time ever, they are shooting editorial and not stock photography with the focus on education.
The goal is to give all attendees both the chance to shoot as much as possible in Istanbul, free of the constraints that go with a studio and a static set of lights, and also to instill them all with as much education on editorial photography in 4 days.
iStock will be joined by major players in the Editorial industry, including the people behind Getty Images Reportage, and some of the very best photojournalists in the game today.
The event iStockalypse iStanbul will be from November 5 until 8, 2009.
