It’s beginning to feel a lot like summer at Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul. Along with blooming gardens and an unbeatable location, the resort is now proud to offer guests the best view in Istanbul with an extended al fresco seating in Le Fumoir, and a brand new menu at the renowned Bosphorus Grill.
Le Fumoir Pavilion has been extended to be closer to the Bosphorus
Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul’s chic bar Le Fumoir rapidly became the talk of the town after its opening in 2010, owing to its superb location, premium cognacs, quality malts, a fine selection of wines and champagnes, enticing cocktails and cigars served in handmade humidors, all served with a signature presentation style. This airy, chic bar offers al fresco seating and is located in the lush green gardens of the Çırağan Palace surrounded by palm trees with a spectacular view of the Bosphorus. Guests simply love discovering the very best of Istanbul’s social life for pre- or post-meal socialising and enjoying the finest selection of cocktails and spirits in a comfortable setting, early evening or after dinner.
In the summer of 2012, thanks to General Manager Ralph Radtke’s brainwave of an al fresco summer seating area, Le Fumoir Pavilion was set up in the midst of the palm trees extending over the Bosphorus. It soon proved to be a “trendy spot”, particularly among the young socialites of the city, as the “only place to have hookah in style” while enjoying the cool breeze of the Bosphorus.
This spring, Le Fumoir Pavilion is determined not to turn any guests away due to lack of space: Management has decided to enhance the seating capacity to accommodate another 60 guests, reaching a full capacity of 100. In addition, a new and exciting beverage menu is being introduced that will be as marvellous as the Bosphorus view!
Le Fumoir Pavilion is open from 11:00 to 1:00 every day.
Bosphorus Grill comes back with a brand new menu!
Welcoming a new menu this summer, the Bosphorus Grill is an al fresco summer dining spot located so close to the Bosphorus that guests can actually touch the waters of the strait while enjoying a view stretching from the Bosphorus Bridge to the Maiden’s Tower. Opened in 2003, Bosphorus Grill remains one of the top summer dining venues in the city with its stunning location and rare delicacies.
A delicious open buffet serves a rich variety of grilled meat, poultry, fish and seafood along with a variety of delicious “meze”s, fresh and healthy salads and of course sweets, with all ingredients handpicked from Turkey and selected by the new Turkish Executive Chef Sezai Erdoğan. This summer guests will enjoy the Indian tandoori to top their evening feast.
After a marvellous dinner, guests can easily reach the city’s other hot spots with a rapid yet romantic boat ride right from the pier of the restaurant. Bosphorus Grill is open from 19.30 to 23.30.
The New Highlight in town: Moet & Chandon Bar
Çırağan Palace Kempinski Istanbul has done it again: A brand new service, and a bar! In an exclusive partnership with Moet & Chandon, guests at the hotel’s infinity pool on the Bosphorus will be served Ice Imperial Champagne all summer. A special delight (or two) to celebrate the beautiful weather!
Anyone for an Ice Cream?
To choose from a selection of over 15 types of homemade ice creams, ranging from chocolate-mint to honey-bergamot, or ginger-mango, guests will just need to stop the cute Ice Cream Cart when they see it! This little treat machine will be cruising around the hotel, impossible to miss!
