A Madonna wax statue has been unveiled at Sapphire shopping mall in Istanbul.
An eight-person Ukrainian has immortalized pop diva Madonna – in wax at least – with a new sculpture that was unveiled November 6th at a museum in Istanbul’s Sapphire shopping mall.
Turkish-American Businessmen Association Chairman Ekim Alptekin, museum director Jale Kuşhan and theater artist Betül Arım helped unveil the statue, while Kuşhan added that the facility would display the wax statues of 58 celebrities. The museum allows helps people learn the life stories of celebrities, Arım said.
“Everyone should bring their children to this museum,” she said, adding that the statues were very attractive. She also said they would like to see the wax sculptures of Turkish writers and poets at the museum.
