The new Mini Roadster, MINI’s first ever two-seater convertible has finally hit the global market, and to create hype, the BMW sub-brand is returning to Istanbul for its new thirty-second promo film as part of the “Another Day. Another Adventure” campaign that kicked off last fall.
Following on from the first episode that saw two men taking the new Roadster for a drive around the back alleys of Istanbul, the second clip shows the two-seater model balancing on a metal structure overseeing the sea.
After throwing out some of their belongings including a pair of pink-furred handcuffs, the car’s rear end touches ground. However, an old man comes into the scene and hands them back their goods, which puts them in the same position as before.
The new MINI Roadster is here to conquer all the lands your adventure-hungry heart desires. Director Peter Berg took “Another Day. Another Adventure.” on-location in Istanbul to create this cliffhanger. Watch now.
The video is done in the usual MINI style, looking like a trailer for the latest Hangover movie. The MINI Roadster is on offer in four versions. Three petrol versions come in the form of 1.6-liter four-cylinder engines, with outputs ranging from 122 hp for the base model to 211 for the JCW. There’s also a 2.0-liter diesel available in the SD.
