Romance in Style During Lovers’ Week at The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul

True love may last forever, but sadly Valentine’s Day lasts just 24 hours.

Fortunately this is not the case at The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul.

“We felt romance should not be restricted to just one day, so we created Lovers’ Week offering indulgent overnight packages and romantic spa treatments from February 8 to 17,” said Massimiliano Zanardi, General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul.

“For romantics who prefer to celebrate on February 14 we have created intimate dinner menus for two at our Bleu and Çintemani restaurants as well as an indulgent overnight package.”

During Lovers’ Week prices for a stay in a Bosphorus view room start from just €375 and include rose-petal turndown, surprise gifts, Champagne, chocolate-coated strawberries, breakfast and late checkout.

A decadent ‘Exotic Package’ including a couples’ massage and overnight stay starts from €445 and the ‘Romance Package’ on February 14 featuring Valentine’s dinner for two in Çintemani as well as breakfast is €475.

A highlight of ‘Lovers Week’ is a decadent couples’ spa offer. The three-hour ‘Red Treatment’ for two includes a Hammam, skin pampering, massage and relaxing Jacuzzi time for just €466.

For Valentine’s Day, meanwhile, chefs at The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul, have created two appetite dinner menus.

At Bleu Lounge & Grill a three-course meal for two with a beef fillet main course and truffle potato followed by exotic ‘chococktails’ is 85 Euro including a strawberry cocktail and live flamenco show.

In Çintemani, which offers wonderfully romantic views of the Bosphorus, the 95 Euro Valentine’s five-course menu includes duck liver, roasted lamb, scallops and a ‘sweetheart’ of ‘lor’ cheese berries. There will also be live music featuring a violin player and guitarist.
