A 90 days music marathon spread between 15 May-15 August! Vodafone Istanbul Calling is preparing to become Istanbul’s longest festival. More than 10 world – known superstars, nearly 20 events, concerts throughout the most important venues, panels, workshops, parties, and many more is going to conquer the city under the name of Vodafone Istanbul Calling. The festival hosted by Vodafone, the main sponsor, and Garanti Bank, the official sponsor, will be spread to 3 months and consist of various music genres.
The festival combines Istanbul’s known image as “City of Intrigue” with the power of music. The festval is going to take place in venues like BJK Inonu Stadium, Parkorman, Kucukciftlik Park and for side activities/events venues like Babylon, Salon IKSV, Macka Park, Salt, and Pera Museum will be used.
Sponsored by Vodafone and Garanti Bank, the festival will host numerous foreign and local stars in different venues throughout Istanbul. This festival will become the music hotspot for all genres.
The Vodafone Istanbul Calling music festival lineup has just been announced and includes DJ Tiesto, Worldwide superstar Rihanna, Hip-Hop legend Snoop Dogg, popstar Ke$ha, Thirty Seconds To Mars, legendary IRON MAIDEN, Basement Jaxx, Jaguar Skills and The Prodigy.
